Derived from the charm of wooden toys from the early 1900s, 'Boucle' is a bench designed for both home and corporate use. The bench is crafted from multilayered walnut veneers, thermoformed in aluminum molds, and naturally cooled, resulting in a piece that is as sturdy as it is visually appealing.

The bench's unique properties lie in its construction. The multilayered navel veneers are coated in walnut laminate, giving it a rich, warm finish. The thermoforming process, conducted in aluminum molds, ensures a smooth, continuous loop that forms the sides and seat of the bench. Measuring 45 x 242 x 42.5cm, 'Boucle' is a substantial piece that makes a statement in any setting. The 'Boucle' project began in March 2016 and concluded in October of the same year in Antonio Prado, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The design process involved a deep dive into the playful and affective memory of old wooden toys. The result is a bench that is both unexpected and surprising, a testament to Sasson's ability to transform a simple concept into a stunning piece of furniture.
